This Is For You

There you sit at your computer, scrolling away through social media, intrigued by interesting pictures and posts, clicking on the ones that grab your attention the most.  You might start thinking about what other people are doing, and may even start to compare yourself to them.  “I wish I could be more like them.”  “I wish I had as much time on my hands as they do.”  “I wish I had as many friends as them.”

Does this ever happen to you?  If so, this post is a reminder that you are not alone.  In the challenges you are facing, in the bad days you sometimes experience, you are not the only one.  And just as it is evident that so many experience times of darkness, it too is evident that the light will soon shine for all again.  Here is your reminder, dear friend, that this too shall pass.

In this changing, often extremely busy season, I give you reminder of all the beauty that comes with the change in the color of the leaves and the coolness of the air.  Just a prompt to cherish all the little wonderful things that will come your way.  A hint to take note of all of the amazing people, places, and things in your life, especially when times get tough.

This is for the strong and loving person who sits right there in front of the computer screen.  You are capable of anything and everything.  I know how hard it can be sometimes to keep going, especially when you feel like you are going through this alone.  When you feel like no one else cares.  When you feel like you just aren’t good enough to do some of the things you originally wanted to do.  But there are so many people out there going through similar situations, hurting, or struggling as much as you.  You are not alone.  And you are enough.  So be mindful, my friends.  Be kind.  Be open (as much as you can) to change.  And keep going.  In the end it will be worth it. ❤

Thank you for reading today.  Make some time for yourself this week and make sure to come visit this page again next week!
