Hidden Treasures

Have you ever wondered if there is something more out there?  Something more for you to endure, to explore, to enjoy?  Adventure is out there, my friends!  But as put in the well-used cliché “you’ll never know until you try.”  And what better time do we have to try new things than the present moment?

Developing regular routines can be good, but it is also beneficial to step out of your comfort zone every once in a while.  There are many benefits that come along with this.  For one, you may find one of your “hidden treasures” — a special talent or something new (even as simple as a new favorite food) that you develop a strong liking or passion for.  Additionally, maybe you will meet new people and make lasting connections with them.  Or, perhaps you try something new and you don’t like it.  In this case, now you have learned more about yourself and this particular thing that you tried.  It is a win-win scenario when you try new things and take advantage of the many wonderful options this world has to offer!

It’s okay to stick to your daily routine, but don’t let that stop you from trying new things every once in a while.  We live in a world with so many possibilities.  Perhaps your life is going really well right now and you aren’t in search of anything more.  But imagine what would happen if you opened up to see the world just a little bit more.  The amount of knowledge, of connections, of life that you would gain.  Always maintain your curiosity and don’t be afraid to take risks.  From the wise words of Oprah Winfrey, “Do the one thing you think you cannot do.  Fail at it.  Try again.  Do better the second time.  The only people who never tumble are those who never mount the high wire.  This is your moment.  Own it.”

I have included a link to a video below about taking risks.  I found it to be quite inspirational and I hope that you will too!  Let me know what you think!  Thank you for reading.
